Inspired Stories

We are very busy at present as we prepare to manage the first User-made mental health Internet TV station. The site inspired-stories.tv will be launched around World Mental Health Day 2008. As well as featuring some of our films, it will also showcase films made by Inspirational Filmworks, a group we have been facilitating since 2003.

An exciting youth project

In 2006, we worked with the Race Equality Foundation to produce films following 6 families attending a parenting programme called Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities. The course, now in it's fifth year has been a great success. In April 2008, we started a one-year film project where we train four young people to lead forums and direct a film about what children think of the Parenting course

Films for Swiss Students

Working closely with Lehrmittelverlag des Kantons Zurich, we have been producing a series of films for their one-year language course for schools. The project involved filming two schools in England and Wales. The students were interviewed talking about their school and leisure activities and we filmed them in and out of class. The films form 14 chapters and will be used alongside the manual. The project is in its final stages.

A 3-day training programme

We have been working with Sam Warner, a Manchester based psychologist on producing three films for a specialised training programme. We have already completed two of the films and in December 08 and January 09 will start filming the final film based on Sam's theories and ways of working.
